Back to our "Home" in Gombong
INDONESIAN ADVENTURE - 7 March to 7 April 2011
Johnny and Diana (Papa and Lola) are on a "mission trip" to Indonesia.
Our daughter, Jana, and hubby, Kris, with Aaron, Seth, and Joel live in Bandung which has been our base for the month.
Our first opportuniity for ministry was when Diana shared with a group of majority religion ladies concerning her heart attack experience and recovery. We just returned from a one-week tour of Central Java where we ministered with the IMB for 16 years. It was a joy to visit the village churches we planted and see their faithfulness. Our language came back in fits and spurts after 23 years absence, and we enjoyed several opportunities to teach, encourage, and pray with our Indonesian brothers and sisters. On the way back to Bandung we spent 3 days at our all time favorite vacation spot - Pangandaran Beach.
Today is March 25, and we have two weeks remaining with several opportunities for ministry. Soon, Johnny will do his "Stringman" program in several classes at our grandsons' school, Bandung Alliance International School. Everyday we are enjoying being with our kids and grandkids who will be moving to Sumatra in July.
